Yichen is a rising Chinese artist based in London. Yichen's works were shown in many art exhibitions in China and in London. Yichen’s practice attempts to express the fluidity and diversity of being a 'queer' in society by feeling the language of the bodies of sexual minorities underneath their colourful facades.

“I am introducing the concept of the 'body' into the discussion of power through sculpture and combining it to illustrate the normative institutions of society towards sexual minorities, on the basis of which I use some abstracted body language and Cyanotype on canvas to relay the breaking of the normative track.”
